Summer Sunset
August 2024
The paintings of Ellen Kennedy Doyle offer a last gust of color before the weather starts to get chilly! A combination of miniature original paintings appear alongside small prints of Doyle’s larger works.
About the artist: “After retiring early from a media career, Doyle rediscovered her passion for art. A friend convinced her to join a painting workshop in suburban Detroit and she hasn't looked back. For over ten years she’s been creating vibrant, colorful and sometimes whimsical works in acrylic, oil and mixed media. Her inspiration is nature and she paints intuitive , semi abstract scenes from coast to coast. “

Spooky Prints
October 2023
Celebrating spooky season with original Skeleton woodblock prints by John R. Benson of St.Claire Shores, MI.
About this art: “An actual medieval craft, which was once old is new again through the traditional printing and block carving of John Benson. Hundreds of greeting cards, each hand pressed by the artist himself, makes for wonderful and original art.”
Dinosaurs!

Our inaugural exhibition combined original Origami Dinosaur art by Marissa Tawney Thaler, with whimsical dinosaur musicans illustrated by Pam Kimball. Dinosaurs hold a special place in the hearts of many children, and these works hold a special place in our (micro)Gallery as our very first works on display!
