SMGonBeechwood was founded in 2023. Inspired by the little libraries in our neighborhood, we wanted to provide a similar community experience for visual art. The art selected has been thoughtfully curated and acquired by Cello & Evelyn Quinn.

Our gallery box was designed and built by Devan Boggs, and inspired by the Creal Microgallery in Ann Arbor, MI. SMBonBeechwood features a hand-laid parquet floor and rechargable lights so the exhibits can be enjoyed into the evening for those our for a sunset stroll.

Our goal is to provide at least two (micro)Gallery shows per month. We will add additional shows if interest and time allow. We primarily have works by local Michigan artists, but would love to expand to include art by national artists working in small formats more in the future. We’re actively seeking more mini sculptures that can occupy the floorspace of our micro gallery.
